I’ve been a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for years. I love the science, and I respect the grind. But somewhere along the way, I realized that many of us get stuck in the “work-sleep-repeat” loop. We become our job titles.
I decided I wanted more than that.

For a long time, this site was just a place to post updates. But as my interests grew—from trading futures and building web apps to shooting video with my Sony Alpha—I realized this platform needed to grow too.
I’m rebranding PinoyMT to be a resource for the Modern MedTech. This isn’t just about urinalysis and hematology anymore. It’s about the lifestyle that the career affords us.
What You Can Expect Here
I’m pivoting this site to focus on three things that matter to me (and hopefully to you):
1. The Tech & The Tools I’m a gadget geek at heart. Whether it’s the latest iPad for workflow, the best noise-canceling headphones for the lab, or the coding projects I’m building to make hospital life easier—I’m sharing my toolkit. If it makes the job smoother or the downtime better, I’ll review it.
2. The “Off-Duty” Life We work hard so we can live well. You’ll see a lot more of my time outside the hospital walls. That means camping trips to Bonita Canyon, vlogs from my travels, and the photography gear I use to capture it all. I want to show that a CLS can be a creator, a traveler, and an explorer.
3. Financial Freedom The lab pays the bills, but smart moves build the future. I’ll be sharing my journey in trading and entrepreneurship. We shouldn’t just work for money; we should make our money work for us.
