Trusting God’s Timing: My Journey from Saudi Arabia to the United States

There are times in our lives when we feel like our prayers go unanswered, and we can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. But, as I’ve learned from my own journey, God has a plan for each of us, and His timing is always perfect. In this blog post, I’d like to share my personal experience of moving from Saudi Arabia to the United States, and how trusting in God’s plan led me to where I am today.

My Journey Begins:

In 2008, I was working in Saudi Arabia and decided to apply for a job in the United States. However, the US was in the midst of a recession, and work opportunities were scarce. With the doors seemingly closed, I returned to the Philippines and continued my career there for six years before eventually moving back to Saudi Arabia.

A Prayer for Surprise:

One day, feeling a bit lost and unsure about my future, I prayed to God for a surprise that would change my life. Not long after, a friend from Nebraska called me and informed me about a job opportunity in a hospital. I decided to apply, trusting that God would guide me in the right direction.

A Dream Come True:

To my amazement, I got the job! The rest, as they say, is history. I moved to the United States and began a new chapter in my life. Today, I am grateful to be living with my family in Arizona, embracing the blessings that have come my way.

The Lessons I’ve Learned:

Throughout this journey, I’ve learned three important lessons:

  1. Trust in God’s timing: Even when it seems like our prayers are unanswered, God has a plan for us. His timing is perfect, and we need to have faith in His plan.
  2. Embrace the wait: The process of waiting can be challenging, but it helps us develop a deeper, more resilient faith in God’s plan for our lives.
  3. Appreciate the blessings: When our prayers are finally answered, we must cherish the outcome and recognize the love and care God has for us.

Conclusion: My journey from Saudi Arabia to the United States has taught me the importance of trusting in God’s timing and embracing the wait. If you’re currently waiting for answers to your prayers, remember Isaiah 40:31 and take comfort in knowing that God’s timing is perfect. Embrace the wait, trust the process, and let your faith grow. Your patience will be rewarded in due time.

Thank you for reading my story, and I hope it inspires you to keep the faith and trust in God’s plan for your life.
